To prepare a 2% (w/v) solution: Add 2 g of gelatin to a total volume of 100 ml of H2O and autoclave the solution for 15 minutes at 15 psi (1.05 kg/cm 2) on liquid cycle. Gelatin can be used to prepare SM Buffer
