VAAM 2026

VAAM 2026 to Host Joint Symposium on Microbial Viruses

The annual meeting of the VAAM (Vereinigung für Allgemeine und Angewandte Mikrobiologie) will take place in Berlin, Germany, bringing together leading microbiologists, researchers, and early career scientists for four days of scientific exchange and collaboration.

A major highlight of the 2026 meeting will be the joint symposium organized by the Fachgruppe “Mikrobielle Viren” and the Fachgruppe “Regulation.” This collaborative session will focus on advances in microbial virus research, regulatory mechanisms, and emerging directions in phage biology.

The symposium offers a valuable opportunity to engage with experts, gain visibility, and contribute to discussions shaping the future of microbial virus research. Researchers working in microbial virology, phage biology, regulation, and related disciplines are encouraged to attend and contribute.

The VAAM 2026 meeting provides a platform for interdisciplinary dialogue, networking, and collaboration. With growing global interest in phage research and microbial regulation, this event is expected to foster meaningful scientific exchange and long-term partnerships.
